Dane Playing Soccer

Dane kicking the ball 3/4 of the way down the soccer field.  The other team would fight to get the ball down to our goal and then Dane would pick up the ball and kick it all the way to the other side of the field.  Way to go Dane!!!
Waiting for the action to come his way.
Dane blocking a goal attempt.
Dane waiting for some more action.

Dane also scored a goal this game when he was moved to play as a Forward.

2012 April -Dad's Birthday

Shana went to the Dermatologist to have a cancer spot removed I called her 2 1/2 hours later to see if she would like to go to lunch with me.  She said she was still at the doctor appointment.  They would shave a slice and test it, then shave and test it again.  Hang in their my Sweetie!!!

Manny Boga's concert.  He plays the bassoon.  If you look at the white violin bow in the middle of the picture it points at a guy's ear.  You can just see 1/2 of Manny's face behind the guy with the ear.  I took that picture!  Am I a good photographer or what?  If you click the picture it will get larger, but I really wasn't able to take a very good picture.
Another picture of Manny's concert.
Devree, Cameron, and Zac before the Dayton High School Prom.  I loved it when Devree told me about the "Make-do" Limousine that these boys thought of.  They took the front 2 seats out of the family van.  They had the girls sit on the seat and they put 2 lawn chairs in that faced the girls.  Then they put a sheet up between the Limo driver and the passengers.  LOL  The girls loved this creative idea.
Daddy's Little Sweetheart

Back of Devree's Renaissance Dress

Front of Devree's Renaissance Dress
This happy face tugs on her daddy's heartstrings.  When did my baby girl get sooo big???
What a nice matching couple.
Blissfully looking into the backyard.
Being blissful again.
Ok.  Now I think I have enough pictures.  Just barely!!!
Scuba Diving booties!!!  What a wonderful present.  Now I have the mask and snorkel.  Fins from Noble one "Christmas".  The only part I was missing were the booties.  WooHoo!!!  What???  That isn't what you were hoping for on your birthday?
"Master of the house, isn't worth me spit.", but he was worth a marvelous breakfast in bed on his birthday.

Spring Break in San Diego 2012

This is La Jolla Cove that was a favorite place to visit when Todd used to live in San Diego before he was a first grader.

This is some sort of a bird sanctuary that had bird poop everywhere. Still at La Jolla Cove

This is the Silver Strand on Coronado Island. Body surfing was good on this cold windy day.

Shay on the Silver Strand getting ready to make his sand castle.

The Sea Lions and Pelicans were here by the hundreds at La Jolla Cove.

This is close to the Mormon Battalion and they even gave us a free appetizer to use at this delicious Mexican Restaurant.

We panned for Authentic Fools gold at the Mormon Battalion. The Mormon Battalion was a really wonderful place.

Devree says "This is what Noble gets to do everyday!"

We really had lots of fun at the Mormon Battalion Museum. They have updated it and made it more interactive.

This is back to where we stayed in Oceanside.

Panning for Fools Gold.

It was hard to drag the kids away. There were Young Sister Missionaries as our guides at the Mormon Battalion museum.

This was one of 2 jacuzzis that were at the property we stayed at. It was called North Coast Village. Notice the waterfall behind the guys?

This is inside the party room that can be reserved for a private party at the condo village.

More fools gold.

The waterfall outside the game room at the condo.

Our view outside of the elevator at the condo with 1 of the pools and BBQs . The other jacuzzi is hidden.

The Oceanside Pier is in the distance. It is one of the longest piers in the USA.

Our garden view from the condo.

The party room.

Our first day at our condo beach.

Body surfing on the first day.

That was a great walk we made each day, down the beach and down the pier and back. At the end of the Pier is a restaurant named Ruby's. We had some good hot chocolate there.

This is the condos we stayed in.

Chilling inside the condo. We can't wait to take Noble there next time. It was a great GREAT vacation.

Easter 2012

Teara and Devree smiling for the camera.
Grandpa waiting for some Easter dinner.
Ky and Tammie talking with Tammie's father.
Grandma and Todd looking at Noble's blog.
Dane, Skyla, Locey and Shay playing marbles on the floor.
Dane and Skyla were being silly before the Easter Egg hunt at Grandma and Grandpa Rice's new community. They put their baskets on top of their head. Skyla had to prove to me that she is not too cool now that she is 12 years old.
Here is the Easter Egg Hunt .
Skyla and Dane gave lots of eggs to other little kids. One kid actually took eggs out of Skyla's basket because that was much easier than bending over to get the eggs. We laughed about it.
Sitting with Grandpa and Grandma in the lobby of their new apartment complex.
Dane got to say hi with the BIG Easter Bunny.
